Stunning mountain views and towering pines are visible out every window and you’re just minutes from area attractions, like Ski Apache. Bring multiple families or your closest friends to enjoy a mountain vacation like nothing you’ve experienced before.
When you drive up Toboggan Trail to Big Sky, you’ll find plenty of parking out front. Enter the sunny living room with cathedral ceiling, log walls and large windows and glass doors that let loads of sunlight in along with the breathtaking views in every direction. Plush, comfortable furniture make this a room where you can gather for warm drinks after skiing or to discuss your plans for the day ahead. There’s a huge river rock fireplace with a TV mounted above it for optimal comfort. Watch your favorite shows or maybe just sit and enjoy the warm, crackling fire. This is mountain living at its best.
Through glass doors you’ll reach the huge deck that is partially covered. Bring your morning coffee out to enjoy in the crisp mountain air and sunshine. Just listen to the songbirds and relax!
Big Sky’s open floor plan means living spaces flow together keeping guests connected regardless of where they are in the cabin’s main living areas. Just off of the living room, you’ll find the large formal dining room. In addition to the lovely views you have out the windows, there’s an amazing antler chandelier above the table to admire. There’s also a breakfast room on the other side of the kitchen with a table for four. Like the dining room, the breakfast room has generous windows that look out on the rugged mountain property.
With all the restaurants available in Alto and Ruidoso, you won’t have to cook at all if you don’t want to. That would be a shame because you’d miss out on using the gourmet Big Sky kitchen. You’ll find everything you need to prepare your group’s favorite recipes, including a highly desirable gas stovetop that gives chefs the precise control they want when cooking. When you supply the ingredients and recipes, you’ll be all set to cook anything you want. The Big Sky kitchen can handle it! If you feel like grilling up that trout you caught or some steaks from the grocery store, you’ll find a large gas grill out on the deck.
Downstairs you’ll find the game room with another beautiful river rock fireplace, TV and pool table. It’s fun to challenge each other to a pool tournament. Find out who will earn the title “Top Pool Shark”. You also have a separate movie room with controlled lighting, big plush couches and a huge wall-mounted flat screen perfect for watching films. Pop up some corn and have a movie marathon.

Your primary bedroom is just the kind of haven you need to relax and unwind from a fun-filled day. Slip into your king-size bed and let the gentle stirring of the ceiling fan escort you off to dreamland. Just steps from your bed, you’ll find the primary bathroom with a dual sink vanity, large walk-in shower and plenty of room to move around as you get ready for a new day.
