Modern convenience and rustic mountain living come together in Riverside House. This beautifully decorated getaway is located on a secluded dead-end street in the historic Upper Canyon of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Everything about this home is devoted to bringing nature’s splendor into your living spaces. You’ll especially enjoy the two decks where you can sit and listen to the Ruidoso River and watch hummingbirds buzz around the forest.

When you arrive at Riverside House, you’ll find plenty of flat parking for your group. There are stairs up to the cabin plus easy-entry, ground-level access in the back.

A large stone wood-burning fireplace anchors your great room. How fun it will be to listen to a crackling fire while you lounge in wonderfully comfortable couches and armchair. Expansive windows bring the forest’s green in to complete the space. A TV with cable, a DVD player, and VCR are tucked away for your enjoyment. It’s fun to gather your group to watch a favorite movie while you munch on popcorn. You also have free Internet within Riverside House so you can stay in touch with friends back home.

Riverside House has two decks that give you a front-row seat on the forest. It’s fun to sit on the deck and enjoy a cocktail as you listen to the river and breathe in the fresh mountain air. This is living!

There are a table and chairs, picnic table, and a gas grill on the deck so you can enjoy a meal outdoors any time you want. Food tastes its best in the great outdoors. You also have a dining room with chairs for six between the kitchen and great room. This space with beautiful table and rustic chandelier is a great place to dine and also to gather your group for a game of Uno or Old Maid.

Your Riverside House kitchen is no ordinary vacation rental kitchen. You have a full complement of dishes, glasses, cookware, and serving ware. Plus you’ll love the appliances and gleaming granite countertops. It will be a pleasure to prepare meals in this kitchen. Of course, you can also head to downtown Ruidoso for a tasty meal, galleries, and on certain nights, live entertainment.

When you’re back from skiing, hiking, golfing, or checking out nearby scenic attractions, you’ll soon sense the need for a good night’s sleep. Your primary bedroom is the ideal retreat, a true private sanctuary. In addition to a king-sized bed, you have nightstands with reading lamps, a sitting area, and a TV on the dresser that’s perfectly placed for late-night viewing. Before you slip off to dreamland, take a moment to step out on the deck through your private doorway and listen to the sounds of night in the forest. What a peaceful way to end your day.

Riverside House has two bathrooms, which is a convenience you and your guests will appreciate. A second bathroom cuts down on the wait for a turn in the shower. Before you know it, you’ll all be out on the deck enjoying a hot cup of coffee.

The second bathroom also houses the Riverside House washer and dryer. No matter how dirty your gang gets out on the ski slopes or hiking, you’ll be able to keep them in clean clothes.

The two guest rooms each include a queen-sized bed and a private TV. Your guests will love the rustic Southwestern décor in these rooms and throughout Riverside House. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and the entire house is air-conditioned for comfort in summer.

It’s hard to imagine a more perfect vacation destination than Riverside House. Book your stay in this beautiful mountain getaway today! Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads.
