Bear Cave
Where you'll be
Description
When you pull up to Bear Cave you’ll find plenty of places to park. If you visit in winter, be aware of potential snowy and icy conditions.
If you are traveling with someone who has trouble with stairs, you’ll especially appreciate the ramp and rail access to the front door. Once you cross the threshold you’ll enter the great room with vaulted ceiling, an incredible wall of windows with sliding glass door out onto the deck, and plenty of comfortable furniture. Imagine the fun you’ll have sitting around a crackling fire in your wood-burning fireplace and watching a movie on your DVD player. These are the moments that make vacations special. Your TV also has cable so you can keep up with your favorite shows.
Want to send photos home to friends? That’s easy. Just use the free Wi-Fi you have at Bear Cave. It’s also a great asset for making reservations or checking out websites for area attractions. From nearby Ski Apache Resort to Cree Meadows Golf Course, you have an endless array of fun activities available when you stay at Bear Cave.
On many an afternoon after you’ve hiked nearby trails, fished in Grindstone Lake, or visited the shops in downtown Ruidoso, you’ll probably settle out on your sprawling deck to take in the forest’s beauty and the exceptional mountain view. Gather your friends for evening cocktails on the deck and follow these up with dinner cooked on your gas grill. Food tastes so wonderful in the great outdoors.
You also have a dining table with an excellent view of nature where you can serve your group. Your kitchen is part of the great room space, separated only by an expansive breakfast bar. With a full complement of appliances, cookware, serving ware, and utensils at your command, you’ll be able to prepare your favorite recipes and delight your guests as often as you wish. At the edge of your kitchen are a full-sized washer and dryer so you can keep everyone in clean clothes.
On many days you’ll want to eat out, and there are many restaurants with tasty fare close to Bear Cave. When it’s light outdoors, you can even walk to some of these.
When night falls, you’ll be more than ready to head for your primary bedroom. A comfortable king-sized bed awaits you. As the ceiling fan gently stirs the air-conditioned air, you’ll quickly fall into a deep sleep.
Close by your primary bedroom is your primary bathroom with a large walk-in shower and vanity with lots of storage. Getting ready for your day will be a pleasure in this room.
Guests traveling with you have their own private retreat. Their bedroom includes a queen-sized bed with ceiling fan and large closet. There’s a vanity with great lighting close by within the room. Plus, guests staying in this room also have a private bathroom. Having a second bathroom makes getting ready so much easier. There’s no waiting for your turn in the shower!
Plan your next getaway at Bear Cave today. Located near Cree Meadows golf course, but within easy distance of everything you want to do in the Ruidoso area, this is a vacation you’ll remember fondly for years to come. Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. 4x4 or chains may be required to access the home during winter months. Maximum 2 vehicles. If you are trying to book within 48 hours of arrival you must call 575-258-5200 Opt#1. Monday- Saturday 8-5 and Sunday 8-3 to book last minute.

Ok if they fixed the leaking kitchen faucet and maybe if there were no bats in the house.
