Pet friendly however the stairs and levels inside and out may make it harder for older dogs and humans or younger humans.

The Midtown Lodge check-in process was very easy. The entry code didn’t populate in the portal but the office was very quick and accommodating to get the code in a timely manner. The back yard was fenced and was perfect for our dog to use without any hassle. The beds were comfortable and the fans and Ac worked great. The hot tub was a big hit with our kiddos. There were some awkward stairs in the backyard and inside so it may be concerning for families with younger toddlers or older adults with mobility problems. Our older dog seemed to have slight difficulty getting around. But not so bad that we wouldn’t book again. The kitchen was well appointed and it had everything we could think of for meals in the cabin. We still had to drive to find parking for the shops and restaurants close by as it was just too far to walk. However it was still a good home base for our three night stay. The bathrooms were very spacious and the whole lodge gave us room to stretch out and rest. The driveway is true to the description as it’s a right turn on a steep hill. Our midsized suv handled it fine. We would book again for sure!

This place was perfect for my family and I, the beds were comfortable, the backyard was relaxing, and it was cozy and felt like home! Location was perfect! Very close to downtown, casino, and lakes. We enjoyed our stay so much that it made checking out difficult. We will be visiting this home away from home for future Ruidoso visits!
