Description

You’ll feel miles from downtown Ruidoso in the fragrant woods surrounding Cozy Bear 4, but you’ll actually be just a short walk from downtown restaurants, museums, art galleries and shops. This cabin features a large porch where you can sit and enjoy the mountain air as you sip your coffee and listen to the birds sing. It’s a comfortable and affordable getaway for honeymooners, couples and when a group of families rent some of the “sister cabins”, it’s ideal for a family or friend reunion.

When you arrive, there’s parking close to the cabin. Walk inside into an open-concept living area with beautiful, pine walls and ceiling. The living area includes a comfortable couch that makes out into a sleeper sofa if there are more than two staying in the cabin.

There’s an HDTV with cable and free Wi-Fi at Cozy Bear 4, but you’ll probably not spend much time surfing the Web with so much to do and see around Ruidoso. The kitchen and dining area are at the far end of the room. If you’re not dining down in one of the numerous Ruidoso restaurants, you can whip up snacks and simple meals in the mini kitchen. Or, take your dinner outdoors and cook up steaks on the gas grill. You’ll have the cookware and serving ware you need to prepare the food you pick up at the nearby grocery store.

The Cozy Bear 4 main living space also includes the king-size bed where you’ll sleep. As the ceiling fan gently stirs, you’ll quickly fall asleep. Tucked off in a separate room just steps from the king-size bed you’ll find the Cozy Bear 4 bathroom with walk-in shower.

You’ll have lots of fun riding mountain bikes and hiking in Lincoln National Forest, golfing, or perhaps skiing at nearby Ski Apache.
