Escape to the mountain town of Ruidoso and make your vacation home in Perfect Cabin! This rustic, log dwelling, part of the Apache Village, is perfectly situated. You’ll feel comfortably secluded while also being able to walk to restaurants, a grocery store, galleries and a coffee shop nearby. Or hop in your car and drive the short way to downtown Ruidoso where you’ll find many interesting shops, restaurants and entertainment options to explore.

A highly skilled carpenter built Perfect Cabin in the late 1940s, back when there was true pride in workmanship. You can see that pride in every knotty pine wall and ceiling plank throughout. Though the cabin has been updated to suit modern needs and tastes, it retains the same rustic charm so evident in the original construction.

One of the things you’ll enjoy most is that your pet is welcome to join you! Imagine enjoying a cool glass of wine from a chair on the Perfect Cabin covered porch while your dog lounges in the nearby grass. You and your furry friend will both love that the air is infused with the aroma of the prevalent ponderosa pines. Perhaps you’ll want to grill some steaks to enjoy around the dining table or alfresco in the fresh air.

When you walk in the front door at Perfect Cabin, you’ll enter a cozy room with daybed seating that becomes a comfortable bed for a guest by night. You’ll love sitting by the crackling fire in the in the wood-burning fireplace. Turn on the wall-mounted flat-screen TV with cable to watch your favorite shows or lay out a board game on the dining table to enjoy with friends.

You have a kitchenette with a stainless-steel refrigerator, gas stove with oven, microwave and sink. There is cookware along with utensils and serving ware you can use to prepare and serve a hearty dinner of chili or stew to satisfy hungry guests after a day of adventure in and around Ruidoso. Or, simply reheat leftovers in the handy microwave for a relaxing night in.

When you return after enjoying the great outdoors, you’ll start thinking about a good night’s sleep and Perfect Cabin certainly does not disappoint. You have two bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen-size bed. The moment your head lands on the pillow, you’ll start slipping off into a deep sleep dreaming about all the fun that awaits you in the day ahead.

When the sun peeks through your window, slip into the Perfect Cabin bathroom for a warm shower. By the time you dry off, the coffeepot should be done brewing and you can head out onto the porch to enjoy your morning cup of joe in the crisp mountain air. It’s fun to sit and listen to the birds singing in the ponderosa pines as you watch squirrels and chipmunks scurry among the rocks and trees. (Your dog will probably enjoy that too!)

During your New Mexico vacation, you’ll want to get out and hike, fish, golf, ride the zip-line at Ruidoso Winter Park and visit Casino Apache to try your hand at the Blackjack table. There are so many possibilities, nobody in your group will be bored!
