As you enter Alto Pines, the wall of windows in the living room will be the first thing that grabs your attention. You can look out on your deck and into the woods. Sunshine pours in through these windows giving the home a cheerful feel. You also have central air-conditioning within Alto Pines to keep everyone comfortable.
Your living room is outfitted with a large sofa and comfortable armchairs all perfectly positioned to watch the flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player. After a day of hiking, skiing, fishing, or golfing, it will feel great to settle in and watch a movie with your housemates. You also have free high-speed Internet within Alto Pines. You can use it to send photos, book reservations, and check out websites for area attractions. The Alto Pines living room also has a wood-burning fireplace where you can sip a cup of hot chocolate and warm yourself by the fire.
As much as you’ll enjoy lounging around the Alto Pines living room, your deck is even more enticing. The deck faces east so you have wonderful morning sunlight to enjoy with your first cup of morning coffee and shade in the afternoon when you gather for cocktails and conversation.
You’ll probably eat more that a few meals out on this deck during your Alto Pines vacation. Food seems to taste even better in the great outdoors.
Alto Pines also has an indoor dining table with six chairs right beside the living room. This is a handy place to serve meals and also to bring your group together for games. If you need more than six place settings, you can set up three additional guests at the nearby breakfast bar.
If you’re dining in and not at one of the restaurants in Ruidoso, you’ll be pleased to discover a kitchen that has everything you need to prepare and serve your group. All you add are ingredients you pick up at the local market.
At the end of your day, head upstairs to your primary bedroom loft. This room is a private retreat from the world. Slip into your king-sized bed and watch a little TV on your flat-screen perfectly situated for bedtime viewing. After all your day’s activity, you’ll sleep well in this peaceful room.
You have a private bathroom that is like a personal spa. You have both a luxurious soaking tub and a walk-in shower plus a vanity with dual sinks. Get ready for the day at your leisure. After all, you’re on vacation.
Downstairs on the main floor there are two additional guest bedrooms each furnished with a queen-sized bed, dresser, and nightstand for late night reading. Both rooms have large windows with views of the beautiful trees surrounding Alto Pines.
The two guest rooms share a full bath that is located nearby. Alto Pines also has it’s own washer and dryer so there’s no need to trek out to a Laundromat.

Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. 4x4 or chains may be necessary to access the house during winter months. Maximum 3 vehicles. The home was very nice and clean. The view was lovely from wide vista windows inside. From the balcony we enjoyed the scenery and watching the wildlife including a Cow Elk that walked up just below the balcony. This is a nice, quiet subdivision and just what we were looking for. The Check-in and out was seamless and the staff friendly and helpful.

Our family of 5 came to Ruidoso to go skiing for Spring Break. We were conveniently located close to sledding, skiing, grocery shopping, and restaurants. We rented our ski equipment for a reduced price at a ski shop connected with the rental agency that takes care of this property. We were very comfortable in this home, and especially loved the view from the deck. Our kids enjoyed playing in the yard and watching the deer close by. The house was very clean. We plan on staying here again and would recommend it to others.
