Description
Sweet and simple, this knotty pine cabin has been a fixture in the quaint Village of Ruidoso since the 1940s. Retaining all its original charm, Apache Village 10 has been updated with the latest conveniences to create a comfortable blend of modern spaciousness and Old-World charm. Adjacent to the sumptuous king-sized bed, a wood-burning fireplace chases away any chills that might linger after a fun day of skiing or snowshoeing. Don’t worry if you’re the type that runs hot – two ceiling fans and an air conditioning unit will keep you cool during the warmer months. Meanwhile, a private, three-quarter bath (fresh towels included!) is a great way to refresh after a fun day spent exploring the village.
Apache Village 10 is not devoid of modern luxuries: a wall-mounted cable TV can be arranged for easy viewing from either the bed or the loveseat. A small writing desk is a perfect place to pen a postcard or record the day’s adventures in your journal. A fully equipped kitchenette includes a mini fridge, small oven and stove, microwave oven, coffeemaker and all the cookware and utensils you might need to prepare anything from a country breakfast to an afternoon snack. Then you can enjoy your meal the small dining area while admiring the view through the large picture window.
If you’d rather cook outdoors, the gas grill is a handy addition to Apache Village 10’s cozy front porch. Chowing down while watching watch the wildlife wander by or taking in an incredible New Mexico sunset will really make you feel like you’re on vacation!
Traveling with friends or family? When rented together, Apache Village Cabins can accommodate a larger group or multiple families. Conveniently located near the Village of Ruidoso, Apache Village 10 is just minutes away from restaurants, shopping and galleries. The surrounding area is loaded with opportunities for the outdoor adventurer, from skiing at the nearby Ski Apache resort to hiking and mountain biking in Lincoln National Forest. During the summer, Ruidoso Downs Racetrack features horse racing, while northeast of the village, history buffs can enjoy exploring the 19th Century adobe and stone buildings and museum of the Lincoln Historic Site. Oh, and don’t forget to plan an evening of entertainment at the casino!

We had the best time in this Apache Village Cabin! It’s perfectly located just outside of town to offer a peaceful stay. The cabin looked better and more romantic in person than in the photos! It was a great getaway spot and we’d gladly stay again!

+ Lots of great towels. Location is ideal. Grounds around the cabin kept up nicely. Can’t really rate the staff since I never saw anyone. I would probably stay here again but would bring my cleaning supplies!!! - The room wasn’t very clean especially in today’s climate. Any kind of ledge is dusty and dirty. I had to wash grime off the dishes before I could use them. Lots of cob webs which I cleaned some up. The tin in the bathroom needs to be cleaned and wiped down.
