Great location and overall great stay. We were close to Grindstone Lake, a few parks (including winter park), casinos, downtown and great shops. Even easy access to the highway. The reviews were accurate about the place not being super clean (many details overlooked like pet hair, puzzle pieces, dust and undergarments left behind by previous guests) and one of the beds upstairs being 2 beds side by side (making it comfortable). Plenty of clean towels and kitchen pretty much had everything we needed (just maybe kitchen towels instead of washcloths would've been nice). We had some trouble with the stove knobs and local office called and sent maintenance within hours; however, the issue was never resolved but we managed. Incredible view and peaceful neighborhood. We'd stay again at this place though!

Comfortable home with beautiful views. The location is very convenient to all of the shops and restaurants. It snowed when we were there and it was a little tricky to get in and out of the steep driveway (having a 4X4 is helpful).

This house is in a great location with an amazing view of the mountains. It's very quiet and we were able to see a lot of animals wandering around outside from the porch. The downstairs bedroom was massive. I did need to reach out to maintenance after hours one time but our call was answered immediately and the issue was able to be resolved over the phone without requiring a visit or any additional down time. I would for sure look at this property again if we return to Ruidoso in the future.
